This class is great for beginning and advanced glass artists! Extra materials will be available for purchase during class with a 20% discount. *Powder kit included in price of class*

About Anne Phillip:

Anne is a fused glass artist whose focus is the depiction of realistic images using powder and stringer.  Before discovering glass several years ago, Anne enjoyed exploring the interaction of negative space and contour line in her drawings, etchings, and paintings.  While her past work focused on methods of human communication, her current work explores the natural world on all levels.  Emergent patterns of chemical reactions, structure and function of microbes, and the diverse morphology of marine invertebrates are several of her favorite subjects.

Anne received her BFA from FSU in 2000 and has since been an art instructor for Bullseye glass, PCC, and various art schools and community centers both here and in her native Florida.
