Parties and Private Events

Want to take a class but the times just aren't working out? Grab a few friends and schedule your own class. Not sure about taking a class with a bunch of other people? Schedule a private lesson with just you and the instructor. Having a birthday and don't want to clean the house? Bring your party to my studio and let us do the clean up. Classes are also great for team building activities among co-workers and others. The studio is warm and inviting, the perfect place to be inspired.

Schedule your own class

All it takes is 5 participants to schedule a class that works for you, and your friends. 5 is the limit but I can take as many as 12. If you get as many as 10 people to sign up, I'll give the person who arranges the class a discount. Call your friends, then call me and schedule the class of your choice today. Food and Beverages can be included for a minimal fee but you are more than welcome to bring your own goodies. As a matter of fact, it's easier for me if you bring your own! Just be sure to let me know if you're bringing food so I can have a "food space" set aside.

People can agree on the type of class, or use this option:

Attendees can plan to pay anywhere from $40 - $125 Depending on what they plan to make. This price covers all materials and firing. For example, for $40, create 5 sun-catchers, for $45, 8 pieces of jewelry, for $55, a 7 inch plate, for $65 an 8 inch plate, for $95 a 12 inch platter, for $125 a 12x17 inch platter or Fused glass wall sconce. Team Building

Making art together is a great way to build community among a team of workers. I can accommodate up to 12 people and food and beverages can be added for a minimal fee.

Pricing for Team Building:

Pick a class that your team wants to take and the price per participant will be the normal class fee with a 20% discount. This price is only available for employers offering this team building activity to their employees. Class must have at least 6 people, should happen during the normal business hours of your workplace, (Monday - Friday between 9 and 6PM ) and paid for in advance in one payment.

Parties, Birthdays and other Special Events:

That's right folks, you can have your birthday party right in my studio! Think about it, no house to clean, no food to prep, all you have to do is show up and have a great time. What better way to celebrate than to make art with your friends? This is a great way for adults to connect with friends over good conversation, art and of course we can't forget the food! (Wine or Cosmos served at birthdays for the 21 and older crowd.)

Parties for Ages 4-11

Your child's party will be a huge hit when everyone gets to make super cool glass art. The charge for this age group is $25 an hour plus material costs. You should plan on anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours for the party and art workshop depending on the age and attention spans of the children attending. For this age group, the studio can accommodate up to 16 children but I do require that for every 6 children attending there is 1 adult (besides me, the instructor) So if there were 12 kids, you would need 2 adults to attend. Of course more are always welcome to come and assist. (These youngins need lots of hands on help!)

Party goers can make anything from a pendant to a plate. If your child wants a princess party, then why not let her make her very own fused glass crown, if Sponge Bob is the answer to your party needs, then let's make Sponge Bob sun-catchers. The sky is the limit! There is a $175 minimum for all parties.

Parties for Ages 12 - 15

Ahh, the teenage years, a challenging yet fun and crazy age for sure. Since these kids are gaining their independence, less adult supervision is required. The studio can accommodate up to 12 participants who can make anything the birthday person chooses (and the parent's pocket books allow). I'll present the kids with the tools, lessons and safety requirements they need, then let them experiment and express their artistic freedom as I hang back and give them a little space. If they want a hovering teacher, I can be that person too. I usually play it by ear and wait to see what the party crowd wants and needs. Parents and other adults are welcome to attend but not required. Party costs run the same as for ages 4-11.

Parties for Ages 16 - 100

That's right my friends, just because you're beyond the age of party hats and scavenger hunts, (or maybe you're not, I still like to wear party hats!) doesn't mean that you have to stop having parties. Life is meant to be celebrated and what better way than to celebrate you! Come on, you're worth it! Pricing can work in several ways:

A. This can be done like an open studio. See "Open Studio" under the classes section of the web site.

B. Pick a class that you want to take and each participant can pay the class fee. For parties with at least 10 participants, the birthday person will or organizer will receive a discount of 25% - 50% depending on the class chosen.

C. Participants can also have this option: People can plan to pay anywhere from $40 - $125 Depending on what they plan to make. This price covers all materials and firing. For example, for $40, create 5 sun-catc.hers, for $45, 8 pieces of jewelry, for $55, a 7 inch plate, for $65 an 8 inch plate, for $95 a 12 inch platter, for $125 a 12x17 inch platter or Fused glass wall sconce.
